Our founder

BRETT PAYNE Opened his first construction company in Foley, Alabama. This was a residential construction company focused on custom homes. Brett continued to perform residential construction until 1988 when he completed the construction of his father’s home.Since 1988 Brett has focused solely on commercial construction working for such notable companies as Hensel Phelps Construction Company in Washington DC to Choate Construction Company in Atlanta, Georgia.In January 1994 Brett decided to go into business for himself. At that time he incorporated under the name B.H. Payne Construction Inc., and has since focused on commercial construction.Brett is a graduate of Auburn University where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in the school of Architecture and Construction Science. He has worked in the construction industry on various new construction projects and interior build-outs. Brett’s single largest project was a $76 million dollar water treatment plant in the Washington D.C. area. His construction experience includes: Class “A” office space, medical facilities, retail space, manufacturing and industrial.
